Nicholas Hermann is the Prosecuting Attorney for Vanderburgh County, State of Indiana and was sworn into office on Jan. 1, 2011. Prior to being elected prosecuting attorney, Nick was an attorney practicing primarily in criminal and family law.
Nick’s family came to Evansville in the mid-1800’s and started one of the first 10 businesses in the City of Evansville when they opened Hermann’s Candy Store on Main Street located downtown.
Raised in Evansville, Nick attended Dexter Elementary School, Holy Rosary School and is a graduate of Memorial High School. He received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Ball State University and earned his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.
He and his wife, Gina, are members of the community and attend church locally.
