Stan Levco was elected to his fifth term as Vanderburgh County Prosecutor, beginning January 1, 2007. Levco previously was a deputy in the office, a Judge in Posey County, Indiana, and in Gibson County, Indiana, and a private practitioner in Mt. Vernon and Evansville, Indiana. Before graduating from Indiana University School of Law in 1971, Levco taught junior high school English in Cleveland, Ohio. Levco, a native of Massachusetts, grew up in Maine and was graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1968 with a B.A. in English.
